How it works

A calm, guided transition office — not a listing site and not a deal room.

  1. Set up your company

Create a private workspace for your company, its ownership and the people who decide.

  2. Clarify your goals

Capture what a good outcome looks like for you personally, financially and for the business.

  3. Assess readiness

Work through a structured assessment that shows strengths, gaps and the evidence still missing.

  4. Act on a roadmap

Turn findings into a prioritized plan with owners, checkpoints and progress you can see.

What you get

One secure place for the questions every owner faces on the way to a transition.

Where am I today?

A readiness picture of your company's transferability, objectives and missing evidence.

What happens next?

A prioritized, understandable roadmap with action owners and checkpoints you control.

Who should help me?

Invite advisors into your workspace with clear roles, scope and permissions you set.

Which paths fit?

Think through options such as a strategic sale, management buyout, family succession or employee ownership.

Evidence in one place

Keep the documents behind each finding together, so you stop restating the same information.

Owner in control

You decide who sees what, when advisors join, and whether you ever go further.

Confidential by default

Exit planning involves your most sensitive information. The platform is built so nothing is shared unless you choose to share it.

  • Each company lives in its own workspace; access is granted per person and per role.
  • Two-factor sign-in is required for every account.
  • Owners keep a private space for personal goals that advisors don't see unless invited.
  • No public listings: your company is never advertised for sale.

Questions owners ask

Who is ExitAdvisor for?

U.S.-based founder- and family-owned operating companies, typically with about $2M–$50M in annual revenue, that expect a transition in the next one to five years and want to prepare properly.

Is this a broker or a marketplace?

No. ExitAdvisor is a planning and collaboration workspace. It does not list companies for sale, contact buyers on your behalf, or act as a broker, investment adviser, law firm, accounting firm or valuation firm.

Can my existing advisors use it with me?

Yes. You can invite your advisors into your company's workspace and decide exactly what each of them can see and do.
